Daastan is built to respect your privacy. It runs entirely in your browser.

• No account, no login. You can read everything without signing up.
• Your data stays on your device. The pieces you save (♥) and your reading settings are stored only in your browser's local storage — they are never uploaded to any server.
• No personal data collected. We do not collect names, emails or contacts.
• Ads. This site shows ads via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve relevant ads. See Google's policies for details. You can browse the content regardless.
• Content. All works are classic / public-domain pieces, retold and attributed. If you believe something is mis-attributed, let us know and we'll correct it.
