What ChallengeV is
ChallengeV is a pack of short, self-contained challenges — most of them finish in under three minutes. Each one isolates a single ability: how fast you react, how well you judge time, how much you notice, how quickly you sort, what you know. There is no story, no levelling and nothing to unlock, because the point is the score you got today compared with the score you got last week.
Everything runs in your browser. There is no account, no server and nothing to install, and once a challenge has loaded it keeps working with no connection at all. Your scores, streaks and favourites are stored on your own device — which also means clearing your browser data clears them, and they do not follow you to another phone.
Scores are for entertainment. Nothing here is a test, a diagnostic or an assessment of ability, and a bad run on a given day usually says more about how tired you are than anything else.
The 6 categories
- Daily 2 challengesFixed sets that reset once a day. Everyone gets the same challenges on the same date, so scores are worth comparing.
- Quick 4 challengesUnder a minute each. Reflexes, timing and split-second sorting, built for one attempt while the kettle boils.
- Observation 4 challengesChallenges of noticing — the odd tile, the changed cell, the number you scanned past three times.
- Knowledge 7 challengesQuizzes with an explanation after every answer, from Indian general knowledge to flags, brands and emoji clues.
- Logic 4 challengesRules to work out rather than facts to recall: patterns, estimation, path puzzles and interference tasks.
- Skill 4 challengesThings that improve with practice — typing, tracing, navigating a maze, balancing a beam.

Common questions
Does ChallengeV cost anything?
No. Every challenge is free, there is nothing to buy inside them, and no account or email address is needed to play.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once a challenge has loaded once, it keeps working with no connection. ChallengeV can also be installed to your home screen from your browser menu and run like an app.
Where are my scores kept?
On your own device, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so no one else can see your scores — and clearing your browser data for this site erases them permanently.
Is any of this an IQ test?
No. These are games. They measure how you did at one small task on one occasion, and are not an assessment of intelligence or ability of any kind.
What is the difference between the Daily Challenge and Brain Battle?
The Daily Challenge is the same five tasks for everybody, playable once per calendar day. Brain Battle draws a random five every time and can be replayed as often as you like.
Can I play these on a phone?
Yes. Every challenge is built for touch first and works on a phone, tablet or desktop. A few, such as the typing and reaction challenges, also accept a keyboard.
